Hidden Propaganda Behind the Reality Shows.

The number of reality shows on your television is increasing day by day, you must have noticed. Even the regional channels are presenting more and more reality shows, and all this is happening despite the fact the TRP is reducing with every new reality show.

But have you noticed that they make you participate in every reality show, you are asked to vote for the contestant you like to make him win the show, and Indians being the emotional fools do it very enthusiastically. People are spending their money for their favourite contestant to win.

Do you remember a few days back a Hollywood movie “death race” was released? In the movie prisoners were given an option that if they win the race 5 times they would be freed. The race was being broadcasted on the internet and the public was viewing the race live, by paying few Dollars, moreover they were betting on their favourite racers.

This may be the reality in the coming times, this is already happening in WWE, in cricket, football and many other sports. In the recent times many players are found in connection with the betters.

Things are changing drastically, more and more people are betting, and I am afraid same is going to happen in reality shows. People are making their favourite contestant win by sending messages. Don’t you thing we are trapped? Don’t you think this is being done very deliberately, in an attempt to make every individual addicted to betting? May be in the near future you will find yourself betting for your favourite(whom you think can win) contestant , in the stupid shows like Khatron ke Khiladi, Big Boss, Rakhi ka Swayamvar, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, and the most absurd show till date ISS JUNGLE SE MUJHE BACHAO, so that you can win the huge amount by investing a negligible amount. One thing I want to ask you, have you ever seen any winner of any of these shows coming out with the huge success?

I am not saying this would happen, but this could happen guys, be aware!

well, this could be true. but I look at it from a different angle. My perspective is reality shows is a direct attack on our culture. Take any show, big boss, is jungle se mujhe bachao, swayamvar etc. all they show live "crap". the kind of language they speak, the kind the clothes they wear has a great influence on youth. The worst part is even the shows where contestants are teenagers (like Sony's singing competitions) they try to create some imaginary stories and relate boys and girls unnecessarily. the cleanest show i have seen till date was "dance india dance"; i really want to mention the name as it was pure talent and no drama/controversies.

yes agree........and yes Dance India Dance was really a very good show, I can never forget the performance of Alisha on the song "Jane tu mera kya hai". I should say, this show was more a talent show than a reality show

when i mentioned the best show as "DID"; i think i should mention the worst show which should ideally be banned and that is MTV Roadies.

question is not of good and bad, almost every show on MTv is absurd. We are discusing why all these reality shows are gaining so much attention. Remember same was the case with WWE(WWF) which is totally dependent upon betting. I advise to watch the movie "death race", u will understand the whole concept.
