Food Terrorism : Genetic Modulation

Genetically Modulated Food is no longer a topic of discussion only for the Isaac Newton and Louis Pasteur followers. Its the topic of the masses now. Moreover there has been lot of controversy about it. Supporters of this technology say that this increases the yield , reduces the input cost and protect the environment; moreover the food derived is substantially equivalent to the conventional way of agriculture.





However the opponents do not agree, lets see why:



Unnatural Food: It is the contamination of food, it contains tremendous risk which our human population is refusing to accept and acknowledge. When our nature has abundant food then why are we contaminating the food. Why are we making the food a complex subject when it is a romance we ought to cherish.



Supporters claim that people in USA are eating such kind of food for over a decade and they are not dying. But we should now realise that USA can not be the role model for the whole world where 40% of the population doesn't know whether the earth revolves around the sun or vice-versa. Why don't the scientists ever tell us that 4 lakh people in USA are dying because of eating junk food? We can be a healthy nation without such imported stuff or the genetically engineered food.



You will be surprised to know that there has been a clinical trial to know the after effects of GM food. Even the results of that trial say that this food is harmful for human health. There are many potential health hazards in foods bio-engineered in this manner. GM-fed animals in various studies have shown that there are problems with growth, organ development and damage, immune responsiveness and so on. Then can someone tell me why are the governments all over the world refraining from conducting such tests?



Ethical Basis: Genes from pigs have been taken out and put in to cauliflower, gene for milk production in human beings is mutated with the rice gene. All these permutations and combinations have gone beyond the ethics that the society we have been living in worship. It is going to create not only the religious issues but also morality and ethical issues. No questions are being asked. Why should we prefer such food?



Genetic Pollution: When you put your feet on the accelerator of your car , the exhaust releases the chemicals or molecules. These molecules remain the environment for about 100 years and cause the global warming. But these molecules fortunately do not multiply. But when you genetically pollute a food item, the gene released is like a living organism that can and that will multiply. This genetic pollution in the coming years might be much more potent for the humans than the chemical pollution.



Thousands of sheep and goats have died in Andhra Pradesh and Punjab because of eating the BT cotton leaves. Hundreds of buffaloes in Haryana are dying from eating BT cotton leaves. We all know about the controversies about BT cotton and BT brinjal.



With BT crops, a recent study shows adverse human health impacts in farm workers with allergies caused by BT Cotton. Itching skin, eruptions on the body, swollen faces etc., were also reported, correlated with levels of exposure to BT Cotton. In some parts where BT cotton seed oil is being used for cooking purpose, children are even suffering from diseases like Asthma.



The BT gene which is inserted in the brinjal is supposed to produce the toxin which kills the insects feeding on the brinjal. gives the brinjal plant resistance against lepidopteron insects like the Brinjal Fruit and Shoot Borer and Fruit Borer. When the BT toxin is ingested by the insect it binds to receptors in the insects and then forms pores, ultimately killing the insect.



If you were to keep a BT brinjal in a glass box along with some of the above named insects, results prove that all the insects would die in a short span of time. If living beings like these insects can die why cant we? After all we are also living... aren't we??? Its a big question that we must ask ourselves.



The other controversial but an important angle to the whole situation is Why is there a need to contaminate the food rather than producing it naturally? While it is evident that there is a food supply issue; the question is whether GM can solve world hunger problems, or even if that would be the best way to address the issue. Several scientists argue that in order to meet the demand for food in the developing world, a second green revolution with increased use of GM crops is needed.



I firmly believe and there have been studies that have proved that there is more than enough food in the world and that the hunger crisis is caused by problems in food distribution and politics, not production. Where 62% of Americans are dying due to over eating and obesity, the same % of the Indian population is dying due to famine and hunger.



The other very critical and a long term impact of this GM Food is the risk of Horizontal Gene Transfer about which I would discuss only once we are aware of the current situation and the immediate effects of this 'benefit' that is a fatal hazard in disguise.



GM food is a total waste of technology, time and energy and its high time that we should devote our efforts and money into another solution. We need biodiversity intensification that works with nature’s nutrient and water cycles, not against them.



With few exceptions, governments all over the world are allowing the release of GE organisms into nature without requiring careful scientific investigation of the environmental consequences.



This is nothing less than blind experimentation with the environment with unknown and unpredictable consequences, especially as the released genes cannot be recalled.

To begin I have to speak about something called "Eugenics", If it is a new word for you , then the explanation for it is.Eugenics - Definition:the study of methods of improving genetic qualities by selective breeding (especially as applied to human mating). It means selecting the breed for survival for the future generation. In the name of Eugenics so many people were killed forcibly or sterilized (it means they are potent to have their off springs). KASHMIR CRISIS: History

We Indians of the farming tribes served the British Army faithfully but the British colluded with the people of business tribes and hypocritically divided our homeland leading us into the sectarian riots and bloodshed that could be avoided.

India is the land of many tribes and is our motherland. We lived together peacefully and supported the British in the two world wars. Jatts, Pathans, Marhatta, are a few marshal tribes worth mentioning. Now, our tribal homelands are divided on sectarian basis and when we fight with each other, the West shopkeepers sell their arms into our poverty and misery. For example, the Punjab, Rajasthan, etc are the homes of the people of Jatt tribe, the best soldiers in the British Army and now we are ready to fight against each other under the sectarian banners of Sikh, Hindu and Muslim.

Religion brings in peace but when the sons of Satan, the hypocrites lead the masses, and then it leads to bloodiest of all wars. If you remember that Jesus condemned hypocrisy the most as it originates from one's heart than the moral sins, then you would understand the fruit of evil spirit or hypocrisy that became prevalent during the partition of India.

 

British are supposed to be the staunch supporters of democracy and they always send their representatives all over the world to see that the elections are fair and the flag of democracy is upheld.

But the British handed over the reigns of our country to the Congress Party dominated by the business tribes of India under the banner of Hindus and to the Muslim League also dominated by the counterpart business tribes under the banner of Muslims. Lala Mohandass Karamchand Gandhi, a Baniya by tribe represented the business tribes on one side and Lala Mohammad Ali Jinnah, a Babla Bhatia, the business tribe on the other side. There was a third person in the name of Lala Tara Singh Malhotra Khatri who came under the banner of Sikhs.

All such people were the representatives of their political organisations and none of them represented the general public as it is done in the democratically held elections. In other words, the British did not hold General Elections to pass on the powers to the democratically elected members of the Parliament but to their well-groomed stooges to create chaos and bloodshed in the country through sectarian riots. The British supported their stooges financially and unduly favoured the heads of different religious sects, so as to support the sectarian divisions among the people.

In a nutshell, the British encouraged the sectarian leaders to create chaos so that they could apply their "Divide and Rule" Policy to hold on to their Indian Empire. The business tribal people, who fought least during the Wars, benefited most from their policy whilst the village tribal people who fought bravely during the wars suffered greatest of all. In fact, the villagers were treated like the X-mass pets and they were deserted and maltreated after they had helped them win the Wars.

But every cloud has a silver lining. The demarcation of India, especially of the Punjab is right between the two great towns, Amritsar, where this holiest of Holy Temple Harmandir Sahib is present and Lahore, the capital of the Punjab where the crooks of the highest calibre live. Remember that the Holiest of Holy Temple, which used to be in Jerusalem and destroyed in 70 A.D., is the Hospital for the spiritually sick dishonest people for cleansing their heart with His Word but it became corrupt when the Owner of this House, Satguru (Christ) Tegh Bahadur Ji visited the Place but He was refused the entry and turned away. Satguru Tegh Bahadur Ji rightly cursed the town by Saying:-

"AMRITSARIYAE ANDAR SARRIYAE"

That is the people of Amritsar are dirty-hearted people and this is apparent by the corrupt practices run at this Temple. What God has to do with gold? Thus, we have dirty-hearted people on the both sides of the border and their destruction is inevitable. Destruction of the other towns would follow the general pattern more dishonest people more the destruction.

Kashmir used to be the land of the most learned Brahmins nicknamed as Guru Brahmins who in this Dark Age become Guru sons of Satan. No wonder the Sarsuts and Khatris of Kashmir on becoming Mohammadans committed the greatest of all heinous atrocities that Satguru Tegh Bahadur Ji had to lay his sacrifice to these satanic people. So, the British left Kashmir as the Bone of Contention between India and Pakistan so that both of them could tear Kashmir apart. Remember that the Mullahs from Kashmir went all over Middle East and Europe to create havoc among the people. Allah being Spirit, there are neither the beautiful girls, HOURIS nor any heaven but you rather enjoy Peace of Mind. Further, He is free of any moral laws or SHARIAH and if someone binds you in the name of God or Allah, then he is a son of Satan. That is, Islam of Allah is SHARIAH-FREE.

So, the British hypocritically divided our Motherland and that hypocrisy would definitely bear fruit as the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is not forgiven.

Time of bearing this Fruit could not be assigned definitely but the year 2003 could be the possible time for the fierce fighting in India.

Punjab is the homeland of the people of Jatt tribe and this tribe, our elders said:-

            JAATRRA SAE KAATRRA APNA HI GHAR GHALAE SAE.

People of Jatt tribe are in nature to the male buffaloes, which like fighting with each other. This would happen during the Indo-Pak war when the foolish Jatts from both sides would kill each other. Jatts are well known for their generosity and foolishness.

Oil Bonds' Fraud

Media, especially the printed media has been screaming for a long times that all our oil companies are making huge losses and can be forced to or compelled to shut down their business if not compensated by the government. No doubt oil companies are selling the petrol, diesel etc. At unviable prices as the international prices of the crude oil have climbed very high. So these company constantly keep on demanding the compensation from the government, and our Finance Minister keep on assuring them for the compensation. He has various ways which are rejected outright which are:



a. He can allow the oil companies to increase their prices to match the prices of cost of the products. Unfortunately this is more than likely to result in the defeat of his government in the next elections.



b. . He can remove all taxes and duties on the import, processing and sale of oil and its derivatives. However, this will reduce the government’s revenue and increase the fiscal deficit, which will show up in the National Budget. Moreover, some of the taxes are imposed by states and they may not agree to eliminate these.



c. He can print extra money and give it to the oil companies. This immediately increases the money supply and, as a consequence, reduces the value of money in our hands through inflation. This, too, is likely to result in the defeat of his government in the next elections.



d. He can ‘loan’ them the money, perhaps at zero interest rates, but this will skew their own balance sheets and is likely to have the same inflationary effect on the economy as printing new notes.



e. He can reduce the expenditure of the government under other heads and transfer the savings to the oil companies. Unfortunately, the expenditure under other heads has increased dramatically during his tenure. The salaries and perks of the Members of Parliament have gone up, the expenditure on VIP Security is out of control and so on. The sixth pay commission payout is imminent. It takes much more courage than the Prime Minister and Finance Minister have to wield the axe on the expenditure side and the political will to do so is lacking, too.



f. He can impose a fresh tax and pass on the proceeds to the Oil Companies. However, to meet the ballooning expenditure of his government, the Finance Minister has already imposed all taxes that he thinks the tax-payer can take without thinking about his vote in the next elections. Any more taxation may have a negative effect for his party in the next elections



None of the above ways of providing compensation and liquidity to the oil companies is acceptable to the Finance Minister or his Prime Minister. However, he is a clever person and knows his way around the back alleys of economics. “Aha”, he thinks. “I have done this ten years back and can do so again. I can assist the oil companies and make others pay for the sins of our government and none will be the wiser. It helps that these others being asked to pay are infants now and they cannot object to this expenditure being loaded on them when they start earning. By the time they are old enough to vote, who knows where I will be.” Accordingly, he gives the following directive:



Print some paper marked “Oil Bonds” and give this to the long-suffering Oil Marketing Companies. We can promise to pay, say, 7.5% interest on these Oil Bonds. If this interest is not adequate for them to tide over their liquidity problems, they can borrow against these bonds or sell them in the open market or even sell them back to the Reserve Bank of India . These Oil Bonds are extra-Budget and will not show up in the Government’s accounts. In any case our government is not obliged to publish a balance sheet.”…..wow …..our Finance Minister is a genius undoubtedly.





“The Bonds will mature at some future time, say, 25 years from now. Who knows who will be in Power then, and, whoever it is can issue more bonds to cover these bonds and postpone the problem another 25 years.”





Hence, Oil companies are partly compensated for their losses at virtually no risk to his government.



Once again I am using the prophecy of Thomas Jefferson, he said :



“It is a wise rule never to borrow a dollar without laying a tax at the same instant for paying the interest annually and the principal within a given term. ….We shall consider ourselves unauthorized to saddle posterity with our debts, and morally bound to pay them ourselves.



The earth belongs to the living, not the dead…We may consider each generation as a distinct nation with a right to bind…themselves, but not the succeeding generation.



The modern theory of perpetuation of debt has drenched the earth with blood and crushed its inhabitants under burdens ever accumulating.”



Unfortunately our Fm or PM haven’t listened to him, as a result, your children and mine will have to redeem these Oil Bonds much after most members in the present government have retired from the government and, some, perhaps from this earthly existence. We have burdened our next generation without their consent, so that our present government does not pay the price of its profligacy. It is as if the Finance Minister has committed financial murder and has blamed it on our children and their children, so that the punishment visits them instead of his Party. This is very cynical and downright unethical.



The common man must be made aware of this for the sums involved are not a pittance. – The total oil bonds issued till 2007-08 were worth Rs. 66,967 Crores. Then in 2008-09, the Finance Minister issued another Rs 94,000 crore or so worth of Oil Bonds. This is almost equal to the Central Government’s entire non-tax revenue for the year and it comes to a whopping 1.8% of India ’s GDP.



In addition to the Oil Bonds given to the Oil Marketing companies as subsidy, the fertilizer companies are also given such bonds. One wonders what is next – perhaps the government will issue Sixth Pay Commission Bonds. In an election year, anything is possible, especially as our leaders appear to be head and shoulders below a statesman like Thomas Jefferson. This is India ’s tragedy and our coming generations will pay for the venality of our leaders and for our shortsightedness in continuing to elect them.
